Blue Car Technologies Announces Partnership with OpenText

Updated: Jul 2, 2019

Blue Car Technologies, the UK-based provider of tailored software solutions to the legal sector, has been formally accepted into the OpenText Global Partner Program.

The move is a reflection of the increased investment being made in the UK Legal sector by OpenText to provide growth in sustainable and innovative solutions in this marketplace, and will allow both Blue Car’s and OpenText’s customers and future prospects to benefit from the combined knowledge and expertise within both companies.

Colin Fowle, Managing Director of Blue Car Technologies, said “Joining the OpenText Global Partner Program will open up a range of opportunities to Blue Car Technologies, and will allow us to better fulfil the needs of our customers. We will now be able to build on our existing suite of OpenText tools and integrations, as well as add to our range of products utilising the latest technologies from OpenText”.

Commenting on the new partnership, Iain Jones of OpenText said “We are investing significantly in the UK legal and professional practices industries providing solutions to address many business challenges such as, information governance, legal process management, mobility strategies and secure file sharing. Partnering with Blue Car is very exciting, they provide an invaluable service for Open Text and 3rd party solutions.”

Blue Car is already a trusted vendor to many UK law firms and high-profile European customers and works closely with the European Court of Human Rights on their OpenText eDOCS document management system, allowing the Court to benefit from Blue Car’s in-depth knowledge of document compression and long-term archiving in PDF/A.
